Although official details have yet to be released and strictly no body off shots are allowed, Team Associated are running their new RC8 prototype at the Montpellier GP which is currently underway in France.
On the track Yannick Aigoin looks fast with the new prototype after setting the pace during the first round of practice, much to the delight of Associated designer Josh Alton who has made the trip over from California prior to the Dirt Nitro Challenge next weekend where the prototype will be run by the two Ryan’s, Maifield and Cavalieri!
Josh commented that the buggy was “all new”, sharing only a few small parts with the original RC8 which draws our attention to the prototype front lower arms and very central engine position. According to some sources there is an element of a plastic chassis or tub, although the bottom of the buggy would not suggest that!
